Hoar-able Frosty Morning

Woke up this foggy morning to a dusting of snow and a little bit of a hoar-frosting. I’ve always liked this barn on 119th a little north of my house, but there are usually too many side-distractions to really make a good composition. So I’m always hoping on foggy days, that I can capture some kind of shot with this barn and not a lot of the surrounding noise.
Then further in towards Longmont, this other horse stable always catches my eyes on days like this, but today was the first time I actually captured it with my camera. I love the contrast between this deep red stable and the white dusting of snow in the surroundings. And these old cottonwood trees looked great outlined in snow.
Ah, just another day in Colorado….
