Sunflower Daydreams
When August rolls around, and the dog-days of summer are upon us, my thoughts turn towards Sunflowers. Next to Tulips (in May) and Columbines (in July), these are my favorite flowers.
Are there any Colorado #photogs here that have leads on Sunflower fields in the northern Colorado area? Anyone interested in hunting for them?
I need a fix again!

Happy Easter
Easter and Springtime bring out the Tulips on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall. Although today started at 33 degrees and snow showers. it’s sunny and warming up. Another typical spring day in the Rockies.
Let’s not forget what Easter is all about either.
Happy Easter!

Midnight Rider
At the very end of the Farmer’s Market & Tulips on Pearl Street shoot today, Allena and I came across this fine looking homeless man, sitting at the edge of the aisle of booths. I did my best Parker Pfister attempt, walked up to him and asked him his name to which he replied, “Down South, I’m known as the ‘Midnight Rider’.” Interesting. I quickly asked him if I could snap a photograph of him and he obliged. I envisioned a black and white image from the start, before I even approached him, so back in the Digital Darkroom using Lightroom, I did a B&W conversion, added some contrast and came up with these.
What do you think?
