Here’s another favorite from yesterday’s photowalk on Pearl Street Mall. I was trying to work a little surrealism into the imagery instead of the usual straight-on tulip shots–a lot of subtlety and blurriness surrounding the main point of focus. It was beautiful, but shall we say… breezy, day after the March Blizzard. We drove up to Red Feather Lakes to spend a quiet weekend away. I decided to go exploring from the house and wound up at the roads-end with this view…. Brrr….

Just spent this past Saturday up in the Twin Lakes area, photographing the spectacular Colorado fall colors with three other photographers. And we hit the peak of the tree’s color changes.
