Here are a few more images from my stay at the Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara last September. I had a few sunsets to myself and I’d wonder on down to the shore looking for these types of compositions, especially with the 10-24 wide angle lens I had rented for the launch event.
It was a very peaceful excursion, although I got kind of worried as the tide was rolling in and every 4-5 wave would crash a little closer to my gear.
What do you think of these?

Somewhere over Sunset Cliffs, can you imagine having a home whose DAILY views are similar to these sunset/surf images I’ve posted below?

Here’s a different view of Sunset Cliffs, looking northward towards La Jolla. This was a plain image (nothing spectacular) until I converted it to black and white for the drama. I love how the sky came out and the texture in the surf.
What do you think? Should I post the color version here too?
